This heat shield is a one-piece fiberglass sleeve that is laminated to an aluminum foil The outher aluminum finish is highly reflective while the inner layer of the fiberglass greatly increases insulating efficiency.
Due to the high reflection power of the bright aluminum surface and the thermal insulation properties of the glass fabric the material is specifically suitable for laminar covering of high temperature applications like applied heat load caused by turbo charger DPF or exhaust manifold
